An adult retreat nestled in Yuuhigaura, one of Kyoto's premier hot spring destinations. Our accommodations feature the special villa "Zui-u," crafted from a 160-year-old traditional folk house, alongside five detached villas (six villas in total) that possess a unique charm especially beautiful during the rainy season. Each villa offers over 70 sq.m. of private space, complete with a private hot spring open-air bath, living room, Japanese-style room, bedroom, and a deck terrace.
Dining is hosted at our dedicated private dining area, "Amatsumizu," where you can savor the delicacies of Tango and Tajima—including seasonal seafood and prestigious Tajima Beef—paired with carefully selected local sake from regional breweries.
2025 Summer Renewal Highlights
Special Villa "Zui-u" The living space has been reimagined for modern comfort, featuring a new kitchen counter, a wine cellar, and a projector for enjoying films on a large screen. The sleeping arrangements have been expanded from one to two bedrooms, featuring high-quality "Larkowl" mattresses from Kyoto’s IWATA for a superior night's sleep.
Detached Villas (5 Units) All bedrooms have been updated with premium Simmons mattresses. We have also introduced Internet TVs, allowing you to enjoy your favorite streaming content. Based on guest feedback, handrails have been installed in the "Tenkyu" baths for enhanced safety.
